Welcome to Buzzworthy's "The Week In Pop," where we round up new album releases, talk show musical guests and TV performances by your favorite pop stars and more (so you don't have to.)

It's a big week for the boys in Maroon 5. Not only do they drop their latest album, Overexposed, tomorrow, but you can also catch their interview and "One More Night" video premiere tonight on MTV at 7:53 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, if you didn't score the Record Store Day vinyl-only release of The Flaming Lips And Heady Fwends, you're in luck with the CD version dropping on Tuesday. Cheer on the Okies as they try to break Guinness Book of World Records for most concerts in a 24-hour period during O Music Awards on Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Also, R. Kelly turns on the old-school smooth, Interpol's Paul Banks goes solo, and alt-rockers Linkin Park and The Offspring are back to rawk. The week ends with BET Awards, where Nicki Minaj, Usher, Rick Ross, G.O.O.D. music crew and more perform.

NEW ALBUM RELEASES

Tuesday, June 26

+ Maroon 5, Overexposed: Somewhere between being newly single (holla!), judging on "The Voice" and making a movie, Adam Levine made time with his Maroon 5 bandmates to record the follow-up to 2010's Hands All Over that housed chart topper "Moves Like Jagger." The guys already have a hit on Overexposed via their collaboration with Wiz Khalifa on "Payphone." Peep a "One More Night" clip and catch the full video/interview on MTV tonight.

+ The Flaming LipsThe Flaming Lips And Heady Fwends: Their "heady fwends" span the genre gamut. From pop (Ke$ha "2012") to indie (Bon Iver "Ashes in the Air," Neon Indian "Is David Bowie Dying?") to legendary (Yoko Ono "Do It!," Nick Cave "You, Man? Human???") and more. Though their fwendship with Erykah Badu may be over, their trippy 10-minute collab on Ewan MacColl's "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" is mind-meltingly killer.

+ R. KellyWrite Me Back: He may be battling the IRS, but on his record things are silky smooth. He's pressed pause on his epic "Trapped In The Closet" (new chapters are reportedly in the works) in favor of going old-school with the Motown vibes of "Share My Love," which makes the baby-making command to "Populate, make the world better." Also check out "Feelin' Single," where he soothes heartbreak with the blissful side of being single: being free to find new love.

Check out more new album releases and upcoming TV appearances and performances after the jump.

+ Linkin ParkLiving Things: The alt-rock, rap-metal fusing sextet release their fifth studio album. With their evolution over a dozen years, they favor a bit more electronica than guitar shredding on this effort, such as on "Lost In the Echo." While they've added more electro touches, the band has retained the same lineup throughout the years and the hybrid style they've honed remains. Check out the video for single "Burn It Down."

+ The Offspring,Days Go By: On The Offspring's ninth album, the SoCal punk rockers also celebrate the 20th anniversary of their sophomore album, Ignition, with a re-recording of that album's song, "Dirty Magic." Frontman Dexter Holland told Rolling Stone, "This time we thought we could make it bigger and better without really changing it." Also check out scream-along tune "Secrets From The Underground" and melodic, hopeful "Days Go By."

+ Paul Banks, Julian Plenti Lives EP: The Interpol frontman's first solo outing was recorded under the alter ego name Julian Plenti, a name he'd been playing under before Interpol. His new five-song EP serves as a precursor to his sophomore solo full-length, due out in the fall. The EP features original songs along with  J. Dilla and Frank Sinatra covers, and is being released with only 1800 CD and 2300 vinyl limited-edition copies available.
